September 4: BLESSING

See it:

I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. Genesis 12:2 (NIV)

Obey it:

How would you complete the following text? You will be made rich in every way so that__________. Some would answer:

·         I can live well.

·         I can pay my bills.

·         I can provide for my family.

·         I can pay off my house.

·         I can have economic security.

If God, in His infinite mercy, tomorrow should send you a check for a million dollars, what would you do with it? How would you impact the world? How would you help your community? I encourage you to outline a plan whereby you help your community, beginning today. Think big and dream beyond what you see at the moment. Prepare to put into practice that which you want to accomplish when your opportunity comes, but start doing something small today. This devotional series is a way for you to keep these concepts fresh in your mind and fulfill the real purpose for which God blesses us. Here is that complete text:
