For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ. 2 Corinthians 10:3-5

In order to be prepared for the battle of Armageddon, it is of utmost importance to understand the true nature of this battle. The mind and intellect of every person on earth is what the battle is about. We are in the crossfire of a war between Christ and Satan that has been raging since the time that Lucifer rebelled in heaven (see Isaiah 14:12-14, Ezekiel 28:14-16). Satan knows he is going down and he wants to take as many down with him as he can. Each individual will give allegiance to Jesus or, if not, by default to Satan. Thus, we have only two choices. Neutrality is not a valid option. The opportunity to choose Jesus graciously continues, but God’s spirit will not strive with man endlessly. His faithful ones are the ones who, by making distinctions based on God’s Word, are enabled to recognize and call out the misrepresentations of Jesus that Satan is putting forth in the world. We are called to put on the whole armor of God (Ephesians 6:13) in order to withstand supernatural delusions. It is no accident that Jesus said, “You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.” (Matthew 22:37)

Through the power of the Holy Spirit, those fully surrendered to Jesus are strengthened for pulling down strongholds and casting down arguments.

And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, “We will eat our own food and wear our own apparel; Only let us be called by your name, to take away our reproach.” Isaiah 4:1

Isaiah prophesied of seven [denoting completeness] women—meaning churches—today who take the name of Christ, yet are serving up their own “buffet” which may be deceptively similar in some respects, but certainly not representative of the wholistic message of our loving Savior who said, “My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work.” (John 4:34) and “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.” (Matthew 4:4) The wearing of one’s own apparel means walking naked (Revelation 16:15); not being clothed in the perfect righteousness that only Jesus can provide.

He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels. Revelation 3:5

Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision! For the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision. Joel 3:14

For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Romans 8:5-6
