Pastor Murvin Camatchee is a native of the Republic of Mauritius. He is married to Corrine, the love of his life. After High School, Murvin completed a Bachelor of Science in Physics at the University of Mauritius followed by a Master of Business Administration at the University of East London, UK.

After a brief passage in the Tourism sector (2006-2008), he was called by the Mauritius Conference of Seventh-day Adventists in August 2008 where he served over a period of seven years as Treasurer, Executive Secretary and Youth Director.

In 2014, being impressed by the Holy Spirit, Murvin and Corrine decided to explore the possibility of pursuing pastoral studies. In April 2015, after being accepted by the SDA Theological Seminary of Andrews University, they flew to Berrien Springs, MI. Three years later, in May 2018, Pastor Murvin graduated with a Master of Divinity and was hired by the Gulf States Conference of Seventh-day Adventists.

He began his pastoral ministry as Associate Pastor at the Birmingham Roebuck SDA Church, AL before becoming the Pastor of College Drive SDA Church in October 2018.
